You are a lucky person. You have arrived to a unique place. Have you stopped for a minute to think what OLHOS DE ÁGUA means? Literally it means Water Eyes. Why? Because there are springs of fresh water flowing out of sea, under the sand or even under the rocks. To see these places, first wait for the tide to be out, then go down to the beach and take your left, where you can find a funny looking rock (seems to be trying to keep its balance, it is known locally as Gago Coutinho rock). Walk a bit further then start looking for springs coming out of the water. If you cannot find them, ask any fisherman, they will be happy to show where they are or take information at reception. Do not leave without seeing and try to taste the fresh water (about some 50 years ago, people that spent there holiday at Olhos de Água, used to cook, bath and wash their clothes at these springs). All apartments have 1 or 2 rooms with their own bathroom, kitchen fully equiped, living room and a sunny balcony with sea view.
