Monsaraz - Alentejo, Portugal
Monte Saraz is a eighteenth-century 'monte' (a typical Alentejo farming estate) which has been restored to its original state, offering repose and quality during your stay, provided in comfortable, separate farmhouses or in suites located in the main building.
Allow yourself to fall in love with the Alentejo plain and discover this peaceful retreat in the heart of Alto Alentejo, only 45 km from Évora, from which you will be able to enjoy the magnificent view of the medieval town of Monsaraz, savour the regional cuisine, go on walking or bicycle tours, visit prehistoric monuments, discover neighbouring villages or even enjoy the beauty of the lakes formed by the waters of Alqueva.
In Monte Saraz you can find tranquillity at any time of year, be it by the warmth of a good hearth or swimming in the swimming-pool shaped by the arches of an old olive oil press. Surrounded by an ancient olive grove, by vegetable plots and orchards, it hints at a scenery worthy of Paradise, designed for those who appreciate the good things in life.
