In the past, the House of Ervedal was a shelter to the pilgrims of Santiago de Compostela, as testified by the “vieiras”, the shells of pilgrims, engraved in the stones of the entrance, of the fountain and of the chapel.
The property consists of three buildings: the mansion house, common and library and offers a wide field of relaxation allowing hiking, at more or less difficult, to the river Teixeira, a tributary of the Douro, having locks and natural pools.
It is equipped with eight double sleeping rooms, dinning room, living and leisure rooms, chapel, meeting room with multimedia equipments and a room for special events or family gatherings. Each room is provided with central heating.
